1. How are you pursuing your God-given purpose and destiny? And what is one thing you would say to encourage someone trying to pursue their God-given purpose today?

My priority is to seek out God daily. Spending intimate, undisturbed time with the Lord brings me so much purpose and direction for my life. It is when I spend time with Him that His joy radiates in my relationships with those that surround me. If you feel lost, anxious, scattered—the only place where you will realize what you were meant to do in this world will be found in the presence of the God who created you and knows you best! I believe this is the place where we really discover how our talents, personality, and vocation come together. No test, coach, or college advisor can tell you these things as well as His Word, and Spirit can.

2. What motivates or inspires you?

I'm inspired by the truth—to seek it out, live it, and teach it to others. There's a proverb that says, "An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge," (Proverbs 18:15). I believe that becoming Bible-literate illuminates my mind, heart, and spirit. It is when I come to understand biblical principles that I'm able to understand the “why" behind what God truly desires for my life. It challenges me to be obedient in a culture that wants me to defy my God-given purpose. When obedience to Christ's Word is what leads to me having the most satisfying and fulfilling life that money, fame, and success could never bring.

3. What books and podcasts are you currently reading and listening to that are helping you to continue growing and learning?

I’m currently reading The Road Back To You by Ian Cron. It talks about the Enneagram, your unique personality traits, and how they play a role in how you do daily ministry with others. I really love listening to The Proverbs 31 podcast! It is so life-giving and relatable.

4. Tell us more about your work and how you are using this to make an impact in Market Place Ministry.

Right now, I’m working as an event planner and occasionally do passion coaching! I love helping women understand their unique traits, passions, and skills from the perspective of asking the Lord to reveal it to them. I believe that the more we help women draw closer to the Lord with common questions they have about life, such as, "What am I here for? What am I supposed to do, career wise?" Being able to slowly point them back to the one who can really answer their questions is rewarding for myself and them—because at the end, they are drawing toward knowing Christ.

5. What do you love about Equipped by Faith?

I love that it takes ministry to a deeper, more vulnerable environment where we can listen to personal testimonies of people living out their understanding of where God is taking them. Especially when we hear the struggles, successes, and are able to recognize God is the constant when everything else is in a state of constant change. We are all going through the same things and at the same time, being challenged in a subtle way to seek our Constant, regardless of what life brings, together.

Thank you for sharing your heart with us, Victoria! Stay tuned for our next #wcw and email us at info@equippedbyfaith.com if you have someone special you would like to nominate for next month’s feature!
