1. How are you pursuing your God-given purpose and destiny? And what is one thing you would say to encourage someone trying to pursue their God-given purpose today?
I am a work in progress. I’m always questioning where I am and if I’m pursuing my destiny, but I also know God has always put me right where I’m supposed to be. If trusting the Lord and His plans for me is my destiny, then consider it fulfilled!
2. What motivates or inspires you?
I’m motivated by my son. Being his mother is the only job I cannot fail. Helping him to develop his love for the Lord is my responsibility and privilege. I’m inspired by the past from a professional standpoint. From a personal standpoint, I’m inspired by others who are like-minded or those whom I aspire to be like in some way. I love that I have God-fearing friends and clients.
3. What books and podcasts are you currently reading and listening to that are helping you to continue growing and learning?
Right now I’m reading OPEN an autobiography by Andre Agassi and Own the Moment by Carl Lentz. I love reading, learning, and growing. I’ve probably hi-lighted half of what I’ve read in Own the Moment. What’s funny is that I didn’t expect for OPEN to have any faith basis...I was surprised to find out Andre Agassi traveled with his pastor for many years through this career and he is still one of his closest friends. The Lord shows up in the most unexpected places… that’s the best!
4. Tell us more about your business and how you are using it to make an impact in Market Place Ministry.
I'm a personal stylist and the founder of the personal styling group, The Clad Life. I’m so fortunate to have clients who love the Lord. They know of my love for Him too and that’s special to me. There is not one person I’m involved with closely on a professional basis who doesn’t have a relationship with the Lord. I feel so fortunate in this way. My assistant, Jen, will pray for me and vise-versa. God really knew what He was doing when He sent her to me!
5. What do you love about Equipped by Faith?
I love the ladies involved in EBF. Whether they are new or have been there since the beginning, everyone is very loving and so welcoming. I enjoy the guests as well. They, along with Sabrina, make EBF a place where I never leave feeling like I haven’t learned something!
