Her Story: Britteney Ofodile

Getting to know Equip Group Leader, Britteney Ofodile... 

Britteney Ofodile is our Equip Group Host Leader of our Grand Prairie location! They meet every third Thursday at 6:30pm in her home—and we hear nothing but good things about this group! 

Not only is Britteney a fantastic leader and fabulous host, she is also currently studying for her 7 & 66 investment licensing exams en route to obtaining a position as a Financial Advisor or working in a leadership capacity. Prior to that, she spent over 10 years at the Bank of America firm. Most recently, she served as the Lead Manager for Bank of America Small business centralized division; however, has worked in various capacities within the consumer banking channel including Financial Center Manager and Change Consultant. 

She assists Equipped by Faith in overseeing our Equip Group Discipleship Program and pours love, encouragement, and hope into the women who attend her group on a weekly basis. She has a big heart and jumps at the opportunity to love on others! Lastly and most importantly—she is wholly devoted to caring for her beloved family. She has an amazing husband, brother, and two pups that keep her going!  

Britteney decided to open up her home to become an Equip Group Leader because, in her words, "When we purchased our home, I knew from the beginning that our game room-sized space would be perfect for us to minister out of. Who, what, and how was the next question. I began my journey with Equipped by Faith in 2017, and every single event that I attended, I felt so welcomed and loved. During the retreat, God said to me, “No more sitting in the audience–get up and participate.” I answered with a simple, “YES!” Yet again, I was welcomed with open arms and love and I said to myself, "This has to be the right place!” Opening our home has been the medicine that I needed by serving God’s women and has brought joy to my heart. I'll keep doing it until He tells me different!”
