THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME

time |tīm| noun 1 the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole.

Christmas is just around the corner and I’ve been getting all my last-minute shopping done–wrapping and sending gifts out to family and friends. The kids have been shaking their presents sitting under the tree asking us is they can open “just one” before Christmas morning. (LOL!) I remember doing that as a little girl too, but I’m so glad my parents always made me wait for the magic of Christmas morning–moments like that are so special when you can just wait for the right and perfect time!

God is like that with us too. He sees things that we do not see. He knows things that we do not know. When waiting for a dream or a prayer to be answered, it can be easy to get discouraged and start losing hope and faith. But God is always on time–and at just the right time, He will open the right doors for us to walk through.

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time, we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians 6:9

We have to trust that God sees the big picture. He can see what is up ahead and what we are going to need for the journey. Sometimes the person we think we can’t live without is actually someone who will hold us back from all that God has for us! Trust that if something doesn’t work out, it is actually better for you—and you need to let it go! If it is for you, God will bring it back to you.

“We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.” Proverbs 16:9

God has already determined a specific time for the completion and fulfillment of the desires He has placed within you! When we get discouraged, we need to choose to put our trust in Him, knowing that He wants good for us (Romans 8:28) and that He knows better than we do.

“For my thoughts are nothing like your thoughts. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9

When I was single, I would wonder if I would ever get married. But I didn’t settle, and I chose to believe that God would give me the very best. It wasn’t until I stopped looking around for the right guy and decided to prepare myself to be the best wife instead, that God brought Field into my life.

Use the time that God is giving you right now as preparation for what is coming. Allow God to work on your behalf behind the scenes. These seasons can be some of the most wonderful times of our lives if we choose to use them to our advantage. Grow, learn, study, and pray. Start believing and becoming the person you desire to be when your deepest dreams are fulfilled—and just watch how God uses this season to prepare and propel you into your destiny!

My prayer for you today is that you would place your hopes, dreams, and desires into the hands of God—and trust that He will take better care of them than you can. He cares more about them than you do and He loves you more than you could ever know!

Merry Christmas!

XO-

Sabrina
