1. How are you pursuing your God-given purpose and destiny? And what is one thing you would say to encourage someone trying to pursue their God-given purpose today?

Growing up, I wasn't sure what I would be doing as an adult but I always knew I was good at selling stuff to people and I also knew I was very creative. I always won the “Most Creative Student" award every year. When I got my first "big girl" job with MINT dentistry, I realized that all my skills and gifts were being used in social media marketing—that was what I wanted to do and that was what I was good at! I think all the gifts God has placed in my life were for a reason and in this season, I am able to use them by running my very own blogs. I know God gave me these platforms so that through them I can reach people and bring them to Christ.

I think the biggest advice I can give someone is to look at the gifts God has placed inside of them and use those gifts/talents toward whatever it is they are passionate about. I also think it's important to honor God with your talents because you don't want your gifts and talents to be all about you—they are placed inside of us for a purpose and that purpose is to show others what it means to be a light (Christian) in this world in whatever field/career you end up in.

2. What motivates or inspires you?

Seeing other Godly entrepreneurs inspires me. I love seeing that you can follow and pursue your dreams while still being a light and sharing the gospel in the market God has placed you in.

3. What books and podcasts are you currently reading and listening to that are helping you to continue growing and learning?

Because I have a lot of younger girls that follow me (and I myself am learning what it means to be an adult), I am currently reading Welcome to Adulting by Jonathan Pokluda, the Young Adults pastor at Watermark Church in Dallas, TX. It is a great book to read because you can apply a lot of the principles in the book and avoid MAJOR problems as an adult. I also listen to The Porch podcast and Views from the Porch which are both a part of Watermark Church, great advice for young adults and even just advice that you can take into the workplace and every day life!

4. Tell us more about being a blogger and how you are using this to make an impact in Market Place Ministry.

Well, I am a blogger/influencer which means more than just taking pictures and posting all day. It is about influencing in the niche that you are in and informing people about that particular niche. I personally share beauty, health, and fitness secrets which makes you pretty on the outside—but I also get to share my personal relationship with God and encourage other ladies. I post daily Bible studies on my stories and encourage everyone to do them with me. Because of my blog, I now have a community of girls that join me in a daily Bible study where we grow together and help each other do life together. I am also able to invite ladies to my church with my platform and be a friend to followers that need a friend to talk to—and I love that I can be the spiritual friend that people need.

5. What do you love about Equipped by Faith?

I love that when I had just moved back to Dallas I was able to find community and great friends with EBF. I see most of these ladies as sisters and I love that, together, we are able to be the light in this world in our individual career paths.

Thanks for inspiring us this month Dani! Be sure to follow her on her journey at @littlemixico and www.littlemixico.com and stay tuned for our next feature!
