1. How are you pursuing your God-given purpose and destiny? And what is one thing you would say to encourage someone trying to pursue their God-given purpose today?

God puts us in different seasons in order to prepare us to live our purpose and destiny. At times we think we're not living in any sort of special destiny because of the season we are in. I believe I'm living my God-given purpose and destiny by not letting go of God's promises, His sustaining hand, and by allowing the Holy Spirit to mold me into who I was created to be in each season of my life. I would encourage someone looking for their purpose to not lose focus. To enjoy the process and to remember that God works every situation for the good of those who love Him. Also, it doesn't mean you do it alone. Don't try to figure everything out on your own. God desires for us to have relationship with Him for a reason!

2. What motivates or inspires you?

My son motivates me and inspires me. He gives me the drive to push myself. I don't ever want him to limit himself in life–and as a single mother, I know that will only happen as I set that example for him.

3. What books and podcasts are you currently reading and listening to that are helping you to continue growing and learning?

Apart from the Bible, I listen to a lot of podcasts since I always seem to be on the go lately. My favorites to listen to are: Bishop T.D. Jakes, Steven Furtick, and Joyce Meyer.

4. Tell us more about being an Executive Assistant and how you are using this to make an impact in Market Place Ministry.

I would call myself a servant. Anytime something gets tricky or the day gets crazy, I go back to Colossians 3:23 that says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters…” I try to have the mindset of a servant at all times, knowing that every season we go through is a season of preparation—and it is necessary for our growth even if it doesn’t look the way we thought it would.

5. What do you love about Equipped by Faith?

What I don’t love is that it’s only once a month—haha! But what I do love is that everyone is welcome—no matter who you are, where you came from, whether you’re a large influencer in the community or if you’re an introvert, whether you are a first-timer or if you’ve been there for a while—everyone is always welcome at Equipped by Faith. You’ll feel at home when you walk in. Everyone lets their guard down and girls are free to be girls. Everyone cheers everyone on in that room. If I could take them everywhere with me—I would!
